beaches, spectacular mountains and even friendly whales searching for
human contact await you this winter.
On our Baja sea kayaking trips, we allow ample time to snorkel, take
canyon hikes to ancient cave paintings, learn the art of animal tracking,
enjoy leisure sunrise and sunset paddles, or simply read your favorite
novel while swinging in a hammock. For those who are a bit more adventurous
and energetic, Raven staff will be ready to share with you the wilder
side of Baja. Baja is certainly a nature-lover's paradise; it is quite
common to have close encounters with Blue, Fin back and Gray whales,
California
sea
lions,
playful
dolphins
and
countless
bird species. You will have
a chance to explore many diverse ecosystems including mangrove forests and
tidal pools, the flora and fauna of low desert and even higher mountains.
Since 1986, Colin Garland, Raven Adventure's lead guide,
has been traveling the world, with over 15 years experience discovering
the hidden secrets
of Baja. When you join one of our trips you get much more than whales
and water. Initiated by Australian elders as a master animal tracker,
your guide will share his extensive knowledge of animal tracking,
bird identification, tribal myths and legends, and much, much more.

Our 10 day trips are planned to make the most of your valuable vacation
time. Unlike many companies offering trips that require paddling
to a new campsite
each day, Raven Adventures operates from established base camps allowing
plenty of time to explore remote areas in depth, and at your own

levels including absolute beginners. If you would love to have a

travel experience but do not want to spend several hours a day in
a kayak, a Raven trip may be perfect for you. For those travelers
looking for a more adventurous experience requiring a strenuous workout,
we offer trips to more remote areas of Baja.

For years Raven staff have been serving nutritious meals on all our
trips. With over 72 countries under our belt, you can expect a
wide range of tasty ethnic meals representing many different cultures.
All of our trips have vegetarian and vegan foods available.
