The Global Classroom has completed many service
projects throughout the world. These ventures include building composting
toilets
on the beaches of Baja, Mexico, repairing trails in rainforest preserves
in Costa Rica, working with outdoor organizations in Siberia and Kazakhstan,
and running educational programs throughout the United States. Although some of these projects have been completed, many more continue and are
in need of financial and physical support from volunteers like yourself.

Rainforest
Conservation
 Over
several years, Global
Classroom enthusiasts have dedicated much time and effort to fundraise for land purchases to increasingly protect the critical biological corridor in which our own Aula Global Biological
Reserve sits. Currently, the reserve habits over 500 acres of land, but we continually work to preserve more of surrounding land that
is at risk of being logged or developed.

Global Classroom volunteers
have constructed several of these ecological toilets, helping to
prevent contamination
of water and soil at locations all over the world. The focus of
this project has been on the beaches of Baja, Mexico.

Donations and Projects in Baja
Each winter when we travel to Baja with school groups
we visit local elementary schools, bringing school supplies and
toys for the children there.
Last year we brought down several hundred pounds of clothes to areas seriously affected by hurricanes. Follow the title link
to find out more about Baja 2007 and ongoing projects for which we are accepting dontaions.

Aula Global Para Siempre
Global Classroom would like to ensure the survival of Aula Global long after the current caretakers
are gone. This is a gift this grassroots organization has invested in to pass on to our children and our children's
children. While we have preserved the land, we do have minimal, yearly operating costs to pay for caretaking, legal
fees, and taxes. Learn more about different ways of contributing to Aula Global and what your contribution could be used for.
