Reaching thousands of youth for over a decade...
The Global Classroom is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1992 and is run entirely by volunteers. We focus on education and the preservation of nature. Acting on a global scale, we create and support a variety of educational programs and service projects including cross-cultural experiences and eco-service projects. Our projects directly benefit the earth as well as the small communities in which we travel. We are dedicated to helping others to gain a greater understanding of the natural world around us and in so doing we hope to help create a healthier planet.

2008 brings some new projects our way. Our annual visits to Baja, Mexico keep us involved with marine environmental issues. As we always try to aid projects that positively benefit the ocean and our own awareness of its health, we are collaborating with singer/songwriter Kristin Hoffman. Kristin has written a Song for the Ocean as part of an ocean awareness campaign. Global Classroom will be involved in this up and coming project.
